Seeking New Challenges for Lasting Growth

Image
As human beings, it is in our nature to seek out growth and development. But true and lasting growth can only be achieved through a commitment to constantly learning and challenging ourselves. This means stepping outside of our comfort zones and taking on new challenges, even if it means risking failure. Many of us have a tendency to stay within our comfort zones, sticking to what we know and avoiding anything that might be difficult or uncertain. While it is certainly understandable to want to avoid discomfort and risk, it is also important to recognize that true growth and progress often requires us to push ourselves beyond our limits. By seeking out new challenges and opportunities for learning, we can expand our skills and knowledge, and ultimately become more confident and capable individuals. This can be as simple as learning a new hobby or taking on a new project at work, or it can be something more significant like starting a new business or pursuing a completely different care

How Do You Look At Things

I have this issue with most people. And sometimes, this issue makes me wonder if they really came to this world to conquer and be free or they came to be held in the chains of poverty, poor mindset and slow progress. All the time, people are fond of seeing things from the negative side. They're always having negative thoughts towards everything they come across. Later in their lives, they start complaining that they've been bewitched or something. This negativity is known for ripping off lifetime opportunities from human beings like us. If you introduce a business to them, they say, "What if it doesn't work out" You introduce a friend, they say "Are you sure he isn't evil?" You show them money making opportunities and they end up quitting or not going in at all, all because of the fear of failure. Instead of saying, "I can't afford this" Say, "How can I afford this" If you went with, " I can't afford this ", you

When should you start?

Many people always think and think on the right time to start up something. This is especially for those who want to learn a skill, start up a business or do something online. They spend so much time planning that at the end, they give up and let all their plans go down the drain. I'm not saying that planning is bad or not necessary, but we just got to do something. Instead of planning and planning, why don't you start? The main point there is to just start it up and scale through as you go. I know some people might be thinking, "I've started but I've seen no results" One thing we should know is that, the results will never come immediately! Have in mind that once you start something, you'll have to keep doing it, keep going, keep working till you see results. Don't just start writing and when you notice that you've not gained anything since one week, you stop writing and complain that results aren't coming. Look! To be better at something, yo

Life Bites!!!

Image
I just decided to write down a few things about my life today. I see myself as a special being. I always see myself achieving great things. I know I don't live a "rich kid" life but I just love the way my life goes because I'm lucky. I would try to post my lifestyle and stuff like that in this blog. It's gonna be like a mini online diary.  Reading about me would be very fun and educational because almost everything that happens to me each day comes with a lesson. Before I go on to post anything, you should know that I'm a Nigerian and a student who got admitted into the University of Technology, Owerri in January this year.  I was so happy and couldn't wait for the change of environment. Before I knew it, the academic staff union of universities embarked on a strike. The strike started on 14th of February. This has kept me at home since that day till now. The strike was called off today. Sometimes I sit and wonder if this strike was just for me. I say thi

Why You Should Learn Digital Skills

Image
Yo, I'm so excited to share this with you. All I want to do is to create a point of entry for people who have no idea about the digital marketing world. At some point in life, you've asked yourself - "What are digital skills", "What is the value of learning a digital skill", "What things will I be entitled to if Iearn"... So, if you have no idea of these things, stay focused! This article is for you. You might have heard the saying: 'ideas are worthless, execution is everything'. It's true, because those ideas would vanish into thin air if not executed. As we move into an increasingly digital world, having a set of basic digital skills are becoming increasingly vital. Most job adverts nowadays require some form of digital skill. Coupled with the fact that some digital knowledge provides a gateway to a better job, it seems almost essential to have these skills. Despite being such an important area of our lives, too many people rema

Day 6 - What I'm Afraid of

Image
30 Day Blog Challenge - Day 6 Growing up, I've learnt a lot of things, sacrificed some stuff for one thing or the other and also, overcame so many fears. I wasn't brought up to overcome my fears but the way I shaped my mind in my everyday activities, made me learn lot of things about fears. In my own theory, I think if you have fear for anything, you'll try your best to avoid it. There are many theories out there but this is my own point of view. I've overcome many fears including death. I had a belief that the fear of death is useless because, death will come no matter what anyone might think about it .   Accept death as a necessity and pass the thought out of your mind. It must be a necessity or it would not come at all.   - Napoleon Hills  Presently, my greatest fear is the fear of poverty. I fear poverty so much that I'll do my best to avoid it. A poor man is less recognized and forgotten most times, that's why in this world, we must all try to be successfu

Day 5 - My Proudest Moment

Image
30 Day Blog Challenge - Day 5 Being proud of yourself is a very good feeling, especially having others be proud of you too. Infact, it's the best feeling in this world.  I'm sure I've had many proudest moments in my life and trying to think of the one to place first seems to be a task that looks impossible. Lol. I just can't place one at the top. Maybe because I've done a lot of things that made me proud of myself and others, proud of me too. Writing this topic today, many things are just running down my mind that even till now, the proudest moment is still unknown. Was it when I bought myself a guitar, with my own cash? Lol, but I felt like a full grown man already. I was proud of myself because I've started taking huge leaps, sacrifices and moves. I had that goal to get a guitar and I made sure I achieved it even if it cost me my last penny. Another proud moment was when I won the award for the best student in mathematics back then in high school. It came as
